Marketing Operations Manager

Hybrid, Windsor, CA

Marketing is one of Gallaher Companies' largest investments and one of our greatest opportunities. We’re looking for a highly analytical, organized, and proactive Marketing Operations Manager to oversee the systems, technology, reporting, and vendor partnerships that power marketing across our portfolio. Working closely with leadership, our creative team, sales teams, and agency partners, you'll ensure our marketing efforts are measurable, accountable, and continuously improving. You'll connect the dots between digital advertising, CRM data, websites, analytics, and marketing technology, transforming data into insights that drive smarter business decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and understanding how every piece of the marketing ecosystem works together. As our marketing capabilities continue to grow, you'll play a key role in shaping how we measure success, optimize performance, and scale our marketing operations. There is also an opportunity to expand your ownership of paid media strategy and execution as the role evolves.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM, analytics, tracking, attribution, and reporting.

  • Build dashboards and performance reports that provide leadership with clear visibility into marketing performance across the Gallaher Companies portfolio.

  • Analyze campaign performance, lead quality, conversion rates, and return on marketing investment, translating data into actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor marketing budgets, campaign spend, and vendor performance across multiple brands, ensuring investments remain on track and aligned with business objectives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for digital marketing agencies and technology vendors, ensuring accountability, campaign quality, and measurable results.

  • Challenge assumptions, validate vendor recommendations, and ensure agency strategies are supported by data and aligned with Gallaher Companies' business objectives.

  • Oversee marketing tracking infrastructure, including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, pixels, UTM parameters, call tracking, and CRM integrations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing systems, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.

  • Stay current on emerging marketing technologies and industry best practices while building expertise in paid media strategy and execution.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to read performance data across both paid channels and present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Solid understanding of tracking fundamentals — pixels, conversion events, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and attribution models.

  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple brands or business units simultaneously.

  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently.

COMPANY BENEFITS

  • Competitive compensation and benefits including matching 401K, vision, dental,
    and employee paid medical

  • Opportunities for career growth and team expansion

  • A collaborative, high-performance culture

  • 3+ weeks paid vacation and holidays to start
