We build the vision.
Bill & Cindy Gallaher began building homes under the Gallaher Construction name in 1979, starting one home at a time. For many years, Bill personally designed the floor plans and oversaw the construction of each home, gaining extensive, hands-on experience that shaped his deep understanding of the building process. Over time, their work expanded to include a wide range of projects beyond single-family homes.
OSL Construction emerged as the evolution of Gallaher Construction and now serves as the construction division of Gallaher Companies. As the company’s longest-standing business unit, OSL is led by Construction Director Wade Thompson and a skilled team of superintendents. Together, they manage and build diverse projects—including senior living communities, multifamily developments, shopping centers, and single-family homes—across the western United States.
OSL LEADERSHIP
Our Superintendents and support team is led by our Director of Construction, Wade Thompson out of our Sonoma County headquarters. With a focus and commitment to high quality construction, Wade and his team churn out projects throughout the Western States exclusively for Gallaher Companies.
Wade Thompson
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Wade Thompson serves as Director of Construction at OSL Construction, where he leads all operations from groundbreaking through completion. With over 27 years of experience and deep roots in Sonoma County, Wade manages every phase of construction to ensure projects meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. He oversees on-site superintendents, coordinates schedules, and maintains rigorous budget and code requirements, setting the tone for excellence across every job site.
Before joining OSL, Wade built a remarkable track record at DesCor Builders, where he advanced rapidly from Superintendent to North Bay Executive and member of the Ownership Team. He directed major projects including the $60 million Brix 325 multifamily community and the Becoming Independent Project in Santa Rosa. His leadership extended beyond operations to business development, securing new opportunities and strengthening relationships with clients and partners. Known for his stellar safety record, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate large teams, Wade also cultivated strong working relationships with local inspectors, fire marshals, and public agencies.
A second-generation carpenter and contractor, Wade developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship early on. Prior to DesCor, he progressed through increasingly senior roles with Marden Construction, Shook & Waller Construction, and OSL Construction, managing custom homes, large multi-family communities, and complex commercial projects. His experience spans everything from high-end remodels and senior living centers to developments with hundreds of units. Outside of work, Wade enjoys golfing, concerts, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his four children.
